March 13 AA Daily Reflection Choose Responsibility but Accept Forgiveness

Daily Reflection:

In recovery, we learn to take responsibility for our actions and make amends for the harm we have caused. But sometimes, we also need to forgive ourselves for our mistakes. Today, I will practice self-forgiveness and let go of any shame or guilt that may be holding me back from living a happy and fulfilling life.

Meditation:

I will take a few moments to sit in stillness and focus on my breath. As thoughts of shame or guilt arise, I will acknowledge them with compassion and let them go. I will repeat the phrase “I forgive myself” with each inhale, and “I let go of shame and guilt” with each exhale. As I breathe, I will feel a sense of peace and acceptance within myself.

Recovery Prayer: March 13

Higher Power, help me to forgive myself for my mistakes and let go of any shame or guilt that may be holding me back. Guide me in my recovery journey and help me to find the strength and courage to make amends where necessary. May I continue to grow and heal in my sobriety. Amen.
