51 Days Sober – Stages of addiction told with emoji shit

Shit happens. My alcoholism was a big pile of it. Here’s my story, illustrated with everyone’s favorite​ emoji.

1. Cultural Influence – drinking people are cool ????

I wish I could do that shit ????????????

2. Alcohol Abuse – drinking makes me happy ????

I want to get shit faced ????????????

3. Realization – things aren’t going well ????

Something is wrong with this shit ????????

4. Alcohol Abstinence – that chemical had hijacked my brain ????

I’ve got to avoid that shit ????????????

5. Active Recovery – my head is a steaming pile of drama ????

I got to work on my shit ????????1️⃣2️⃣

6. Real Sobriety – life is making sense again ☺️

 I don’t want to step in shit again ????????????️
